Restoration of dental aesthetics through deflation of dentin technique associated with in-office ble


Summary

The aim of this paper is to describe the treatment in a patient with severe darkened tooth employing the deflation of dentin associated with in-office bleaching. After removal of the yellowish dentin and the dental bleaching stage was completed, the tooth was restored with a composite resin and was verified the chromatic change of the tooth. We conclude that deflation of dentin associated with in-office bleaching its one more aesthetic option for maintaining the natural appearance of enamel in chromatically altered teeth.
