Summary

The restorative solution of extensive fractures in anterior teeth requires understanding important scientific topics related to properties and composition of the direct restorative materials, as well as their interaction with dental tissues. In order to obtain satisfactory and predictable results, an approach in favor of conservatism and mimicry of dental structure should be prioritized. Therefore, the aim of this case report is to present and discuss a restorative approach with composite resin of an extensively fractured, vital maxillary incisor.
